Cantor8 announces Taran route to gold, silver and T-bills on Canton

CantonNews (August 13, 2026): Cantor8 announced a C8 Wallet-powered route for Taran App merchants: tokenized mobile money can be exchanged atomically for gold, silver, and Treasury-bill products native to Canton via Ember Protocol. Payment-side tokens and selected assets settle together in one coordinated exchange. The update extends Cantor8's May pilot to bring mobile-money systems onchain through Canton and builds on earlier Taran App and Yiksi work.

Cancore's USDCx–USDC route goes live between Canton and Ethereum

CantonNews (August 12, 2026): Cancore launched a live USDCx–USDC route between Canton and Ethereum—moving stablecoin liquidity through one atomic settlement flow with assets remaining at respective counterparties until completion. USDCx is Circle xReserve's USDC-backed stablecoin on Canton, interoperable with USDC on supported chains. Cancore announced the pairing August 12 with more pairs planned, extending cross-chain stablecoin connectivity for Canton users and institutions.

OpenZeppelin publishes open-source Daml development stack for Canton review

Broadridge DLR processed $8T in repo volume during July on Canton
