Silvana launches agentic trading infrastructure for tokenized assets on Canton

CantonNews (July 18, 2026): Silvana is an agent interaction layer for tokenized assets on Canton Network—abstracting trading logic so developers can build modular apps with autonomous agent workflows. Architecture is chain- and proof-system agnostic, with confidential computing via zero-knowledge proofs and trusted execution environments. Silvana operates as both a Canton validator and developer; its orderbook supports four trading pairs with RFQ, spot, grid, and TWAP strategies. The platform reports 100+ agents built, tested, and deployed and 3,000+ traders onboarded via its Early Bird Programme. Stack includes an Agentic API, agent SDK, Coordination Layer (built on Sui), and Silvascan explorer; documentation at docs.silvana.one. Silvana targets institutional tokenization use cases—provable tokenization, automated compliance, and continuous due diligence—and is running an Edel Finance cETH/EDELx campaign via EarnHub at app.silvana.one.

HandlPay blog: DTCC’s $100T back office stepping onchain marks consumer Canton inflection

CantonNews insight / HandlPay (July 18, 2026): HandlPay—Canton-native private payments—frames DTCC’s first limited production trades using DTC-tokenized assets on Canton as the moment “the world’s biggest financial back office” starts moving inventory onchain. The post unpacks downstream retail implications: always-on markets as Russell 1000 stocks and major ETFs join Treasuries on 24/7 settlement rails; programmable T-bill collateral reaching consumer savings and spend-and-earn products; stablecoin legitimacy as repo already settles with USDCx on Canton; faster downstream payouts and off-ramps; and a busier Canton benefiting builders on the same rails where HandlPay routes private payments. Positions consumer onboarding as the next chapter after today’s institutional milestone ahead of the October 2026 DTCC Tokenization Service launch.

Cashen passes 50 platforms onboarded as Canton CC delegation marketplace scales

CantonNews (July 17, 2026): Cashen—the bilateral marketplace for locked Canton Coin delegations backed by Cumberland DRW company Ergonia—has passed 50 platforms onboarded, a milestone for the Canton Foundation member. The platform connects CC holders with Super Validators and Featured Apps that need locked CC for participation requirements; suppliers delegate CC, earn fixed yield, and retain full custody with no principal credit risk. Deals are bilaterally negotiated with fixed APR, lock period, recall notice, and breach rate; interest accrues per Canton round (~10 minutes) with monthly off-platform settlement (on-chain settlement planned for Phase 2). Cashen reports over 275 million CC locked in live deals and positions itself as a capital-efficient path for CIP-0116 compliance as the validator and Featured App ecosystem grows.
